I really, really need to work on that important project for school. It's due Thursday. So what have I been doing? Housework. Knitting. Searching the closets for a bunch of old FO's, photographing them, and entering them into Ravelry. I even busted out the tripod and camera remote (you can see it in my hand there) so I could take pictures of myself actually wearing this stuff. Good time management skills, huh?
To be honest, I have been working on the project in increments...just not as much as I should have been. Like right now, I'm blogging instead of homework-ing, so sorry for the quickie post, but I've really got to get back to it! (Aside from the occasional quick break to check email, log into Ravelry, or read a few blogs. Because everyone needs a little break now and then, right?)
I totally do that too. I clean out closets and do laundry and spin and tidy until I simply cannot. stand. it. anymore., and then I settle down with less time than I should have and finish my projects in the wee smas of the night. I think it's a time-honored college tradition, so I've simply given in and allow myself to go through the whole process. Someday we'll graduate and *then* how will we get our closets clean and Ravelry projects updated?!?

When I was in law school, my house was absolutely spotless all the time, despite having a baby and a toddler. It seems the house always just had to be cleaned before I could study.

I find that I work way better under pressure. My mind clears and I can focus.
Time spent the way you are actually lets you process while meeting other goals --- at least that is how it works with me. ;-)
I love, love, love your sweater. Off to Ravelry to find out the details. The yarn is gorgeous too.

I am the worst procrastinator.

Oh yeah, I know what you mean. When I was in university, I could find something to watch on tv from 8am until midnight. And I could only pull in 2 channels with the bunny ears on the tv. Now, I can't find enough tv to fill an hour sometimes! Procrastination expert. That's me.
