The more bits it has, the more likely it is that something's gonna break. The same holds true for life. It's more enjoyable, and it'll probably last longer, if you try not to overcomplicate things. Toe-up, plain-Jane stockinette socks in a lovely shade of Koigu, may be the most elegant expression of the K.I.S.S. principle I've ever had a hand in creating.
