Patterns for You!

Every new business has its growing pains, and Bella Knitting is no exception. You may have noticed that the store site doesn't update very often, and that's the result of a lot of history which I won't get into. The end result is, the site was designed to be maintained by someone much more web-savvy than Laura or myself, and so when Laura ended up with no more dedicated web person, it was as if she owned the store but had no way to touch the displays or add new merchandise. Let me tell you, I really like working for Laura because she is completely unfazed by this sort of problem: she decided to learn web design so she could design her own -- one she could update, maintain, and have complete control over, just as the owner of a web-based business should. She's a tough cookie, that Laura. The re-launch of the web site is on the horizon, but in the meantime, the people need patterns, and we like to give the people what they want!

To order a pattern, send a request to bella@bellaknitting.com and specify which pattern you would like. You will be sent a PayPal invoice for your purchase, which you can pay with a credit card or with your PayPal account. Once you have paid for your pattern, it will be sent to you ASAP!

Right now, only the Viking and Brunhilde patterns are available as PDFs, but we will be adding the rest soon! In the meantime, all of our patterns are available printed on top-quality paper and include a full-color photograph of the project, as well as tips and techniques to ensure success.

Oh my god, this is such an appropriate post today. I just spent three hours with my girlfriend helping her with her husband's website for his pub. Three hours and all we did was upload five pictures and change the newsletter page to say, "Check back soon for our fall newsletter!" We kept running through "How many college educated women does it take to . . . " jokes. Hats off to Laura! Bravo!
